Location

An easy three-hour drive north out of Las Vegas on Interstate 15 and 3.5 hours from Salt Lake City, makes Brian Head Ski Resort a quick get-away from these cities. Flights to and from Las Vegas are available from all major metropolitan areas within the United States. Flights are also available from Salt Lake City International to Cedar City, only 32 miles away from Brian Head. Also, Southern California, Phoenix and Flagstaff are all within an easy 6-8 hour drive.

Brian Head Ski Resort

Brian Head is situated among the dense forests and mountains of the Markagunt Plateau. At 10,000 feet, it is the highest municipality in Utah. With a mean annual snowfall of 355.9 inches, Brian Head is one of the snowiest inhabited places in the United States. Brian Head Ski Resort has 2 high speed quad lifts, 6 fixed grip lifts, 3 surface conveyors, 71 runs and 650 acres of some of the most beautiful skiing and riding in the West with spectacular views of massive red rocks and National Forest. Brian Head has current plans to double the size of the ski mountain by adding several new ski runs, chair lifts, lodging and retail and commercial space.

National Parks

Situated high in the mountains, the town of Brian Head is perfect for exploring the National Parks in the area during the late spring months through fall. Average temperature in the summer months is around 72 degrees. The scenic highway 143 passes through Brain Head and leads to the highways 15, 89, and 12 making it a great base to visit Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Cedar Breaks National Monument, Capital Reef National Park, Grand Staircase National Park, and Red Canyon State Park.
